QT = Withdrawing money from the system.
2020 2022:
The economy came to a halt due to the pandemic shock, markets collapsed.
The largest money printing QE process in history was initiated.
With aggressive money printing, M2 rapidly rose to $21.8 trillion.
2022 2023:
QT began and M2 pulled back to $20.7 trillion.
End of 2025:
QT has now officially ended.
Currently, M2 is testing an all-time high at $22.3 trillion.
There is no official QE in 2024-2025.
But M2 continued to increase.
Even while QT was ongoing, money kept entering the system as if there was QE.
