BlockBeats news, on April 5, the three major U.S. stock indices continued to fall, with the S&P 500 experiencing a daily decline of 5.27%, the Nasdaq down 5.25%, and the Dow Jones down 4.60%. BlockBeats note: The benchmark index for the U.S. index circuit breaker mechanism is the S&P 500, with individual decline thresholds of 7%, 13%, and 20%. When the index falls 7% or 13% from the previous day’s closing level, trading in the national securities market will pause for 15 minutes. When the index falls 20% from the previous day’s closing level, trading for the day will stop.
