Pump.fun makes a strong comeback, PUMP token reaches a new peak thanks to livestreaming.

The memecoin launchpad platform on Solana, Pump.fun, is recording a new wave of growth, as the native token PUMP has just reached an all-time high.

According to data, on September 14, PUMP surged to 0.0086 USD, before adjusting down nearly 3% and trading around 0.008 USD at the time of reporting. This is a significant reversal compared to the period since its launch in July, when the project was assessed to be losing ground against competitors.

However, thanks to a series of product upgrades, Pump.fun has turned the situation around and attracted the attention of the community again.

Exploding from livestreaming

The main factor driving this revival is the restart of the livestream feature. Previously, the platform had to suspend operations due to criticism for allowing dangerous broadcasts, including self-harm behavior.

After coming back, livestreaming quickly created strong growth momentum, helping to increase user engagement and directly contributing to the platform's revenue.

Alon Cohen – co-founder of Pump.fun – stated that the platform has surpassed Rumble in terms of average concurrent viewers. Currently, Pump.fun holds about 1% of Twitch's market share and 10% of Kick's.

Alon emphasized that the project is no longer limited to the crypto community but is expanding into the mainstream content streaming sector. He stated:

“When streaming on Pump.fun, you immediately receive Creator fees ( 100 times higher than elsewhere ), with audience support from the community, free clip cutting for posting on X ( and soon on other social networks ), along with a support team available 24/7.”

In the face of skepticism about sustainability, Alon rebutted:

“Initially, they said memecoin couldn't exist, then they said no one streams on Pump.fun, now they say the livestream of Pump.fun isn't sustainable. I'm just curious to see what they will say next.”

Creator income skyrockets

The strong comeback has brought direct benefits to the creator.

According to data from Dune Analytics, creator earnings on Pump.fun reached 20 million USD in just the past 7 days – a record weekly payout for the platform.

In the last 24 hours, the top 25 creators earned between 24,100 USD and 123,000 USD.
