The UN Security Council will hold an emergency meeting to discuss the Palestinian-Israeli issue

On August 13, the United Nations Secretary-General’s spokesperson’s office issued a statement condemning the ongoing threats to the safety of Gaza residents posed by the current round of Israeli-Palestinian conflicts. The Security Council will hold an emergency meeting on the relevant issues on the afternoon of the 13th. On the afternoon of the 13th local time, the Security Council will discuss Israel’s attacks on schools in the Gaza Strip and other Israeli-Palestinian issues at the request of the Algerian delegation.
