Credit markets may experience higher Fluctuation in the coming months, according to BNP Paribas.

On September 16th, Jinshi data reported that Viktor Jot, global head of credit, stocks, and derivatives strategies at BNP Paribas, said in a report that the November US election has increased political risks and may lead to increased market fluctuations in the credit market. He said, ‘The credit cycle is still generally benign, but the magnitude of fluctuations in the coming months may be higher than before, and will be affected by the key political risks before the US election.’ Hjort said that investors may dump credit and other risk assets when political risks rise, and then buy them back when the political environment stabilizes.
