On January 13, in response to the heightened doubts about the trade war after Trump took office, global companies have begun to adjust their layouts to strengthen the resilience and visibility of Supply Chain. According to a survey by the Conference Board, cited by the Financial Times, 85% of 1,700 large companies said they plan to significantly adjust their Supply Chain, an increase of 15 percentage points from the previous year and significantly higher than the level at the beginning of the pandemic. Globally, 45% of CEOs rank “intensifying trade wars” as the number one risk of geopolitical conflict in 2025, double the 19% last year. U.S. executives are particularly worried, with 47 percent of respondents citing the trade war as their biggest challenge. Supply Chain is the most popular among senior executives in Southeast Asia, with 90% of respondents planning to make changes to Supply Chain.
