Golden Finance reports that on March 30, the AI agent protocol Swarms tweeted that the Swarms API has added compatibility with OpenAI’s Completions endpoint. This endpoint can be directly mapped to /v1/agent/completions, allowing each request to be executed as a complete Agent. The new endpoint features include: full drop-in compatibility with the existing OpenAI SDK; a unified entry with built-in routing, token tracking, billing, and logging functions; support for over 1000 models including OpenAI, Anthropic, and Gemini.
Swarms stated that users only need to update the Base URL and API Key to complete the migration, with all Swarms Agent functionalities immediately available.
