Golden Finance reports that on April 5, local time on the same day, the Islamic Republic of Iran Armed Forces issued Announcement No. 56. The announcement shows that after the air defense system previously successfully intercepted enemy flying objects, the Iranian armed forces took decisive military action in the early hours of that day in response to the “crimes” of the United States and Israel. According to the communiqué, the Iranian armed forces deployed a drone swarm and precisely struck the Israeli “petrochemical industrial facilities and oil products storage depots” located near Dimona. It is reported that the region’s underground emergency fuel reserves have important strategic significance for the energy supply to southern Israel. Meanwhile, Iranian drones also attacked the equipment warehouse, satellite communications unit, and the U.S. military command headquarters at the U.S. base on Bubiyan Island in Kuwait. The communiqué stated that this base, as a core node of the U.S. Central Command in the region, has recently carried out a large number of communications interception and battle management tasks, and has deployed offensive weapons such as “HIMARS” multiple launch rocket systems.
