Yiren Digital Ltd. (NYSE: $YRD) has just signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with ChainUp to develop a global blockchain infrastructure platform, supporting institutional-grade cryptocurrency investment products and related financial services. The platform will integrate Yiren's fintech ecosystem with blockchain features such as staking, encryption of assets, and digital asset investment for institutional clients.
Yiren announced that it invested in Ethereum (ETH) in the first quarter of 2025 and established a specialized team for digital assets in Hong Kong to explore managed digital financial opportunities. The platform trial version will launch at the end of October 2025, with the full version expected in the first half of 2026 with an expanded asset scope.
According to Yiren, the global digital asset market has surpassed 4.2 trillion USD and is projected to reach 52.2 billion USD by 2030. Collaborating with ChainUp helps Yiren stay ahead of the institutional cryptocurrency investment trend.
