One area where Kenyan startups need to improve on is on customer support.
Users will call your product a SCAM and FUD it to hell just because your support took long or never replied to a simple complaint.
The average user won't understand that you're running an entire company on your own. They just want everything working well and fast.

I have just gone through the VASP Bill and one of the most absurd parts is that Kenya wants to regulate crypto stablecoins.
Entry fee: $3.8M(Ksh 500 million.)
In a country where M-Pesa does the exact same thing and nobody ever asked Safaricom for Ksh 500M!
Is this really regulation or gatekeeping?

and still did nothing
Then watched $12.57M dump down to $2.28M
Then watched $2.28M climb to $222M
and still did not get tempted to take profits
Then watched $222M go down to $36.8M
and still did nothing
Then watched $36.8M blow to $730
