PANews 18. Februar – Matrixport veröffentlichte auf X, dass der Marktanteil von Bitcoin am Gesamtmarktwert noch keine deutliche Erholung gezeigt hat und sich im Großen und Ganzen im Einklang mit der Konsolidierung des gesamten Kryptomarktes bewegt. Historisch gesehen steigt der Marktanteil von Bitcoin oft, wenn der Markt unter Druck steht und die Verteidigungsstimmung zunimmt. Dies spiegelt wider, dass bei zunehmender Verteidigungsstimmung die Gelder eher in liquideren Vermögenswerten wie BTC zurückfließen.
Nach einer Phase, in der die Ethereum-Erzählung den Markt antrieb, fiel der Marktanteil von Bitcoin vom Hoch bei 65 % auf 56,8 %. Danach erholte er sich nur geringfügig auf etwa 58,0 % und die jüngste Aufwärtsdynamik hat sich abgeschwächt. Dies bedeutet auch, dass selbst bei anhaltender Unsicherheit am Markt noch keine klaren und anhaltenden Anzeichen für einen „Rückfluss zu Bitcoin“ erkennbar sind.
Die Veränderungen könnten darauf hindeuten, dass einige Investoren ihre relative Dominanz von Bitcoin neu bewerten, insbesondere vor dem Hintergrund, dass andere Segmente eine relative Widerstandsfähigkeit zeigen und sogar zeitweise outperformen.
